Before School Enrichment Program
At Strafford School
The Before School Enrichment (B.S.E.) Program provides care to Strafford School students in grades K-8 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. During their time with us, children have the opportunity to complete homework, receive homework assistance if needed, have socialization and play time with friends, participate in guided group activities, do arts and crafts, attend before school activities held at Strafford School, and play outdoors when the weather allows.
Policies:
♥ Although the B.S.E. Program is held at Strafford School, please keep in mind that it is a privately owned Program. Please refrain from calling the school to reach B.S.E. staff or to let us know your child will not be in attendance. If your child will not be attending on a scheduled day, please call or text 817-3571 to notify us to not expect your child before school that day.
♥ Children may only leave the Program to attend Strafford School “before school activities” with a signed permission slip. If we do not have a permission slip for your child, then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the school activity.
♥ Since the Program is held on Strafford School property, all children will be required to follow the policies in the Strafford School Student Handbook while in attendance. Parents will be notified in writing should behavior become an issue. Any child unable to behave in an acceptable and appropriate manner or becomes violent or intentionally aggressive may be suspended or expelled from the Program. This decision will be made at the discretion of the Site Director to protect the safety and well being of the other children attending the Program. No prior warning is required for suspension or expulsion.
♥ If Strafford School announces a two-hour delay then B.S.E. will open at 9:00 a.m.
♥ If Strafford School is closed for vacation, a snow day, teacher workshop day, or unplanned remote learning day, and your child is enrolled in B.S.E. and/or A.S.E., your child may attend half or full-day at Little Blessings Learning Center. Please refer to "Little Blessings Summer & Vacation Camps" for additional information.
♥ Strafford KinderCampus is a state licensed daycare. The state requires a registration form, health form, and immunization history prior to enrollment. These forms MUST be on file prior to your child attending the Program.
Rates:
Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $30 per new family and $25 per returning family is due at the time of registration. Families enrolling in both A.S.E. and B.S.E. will only be charged one fee.
B.S.E. registration requires a non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition to secure your child’s spot for the year. If your child's schedule increases during the year, the balance of one month's tuition will be due at the time of the increase. Deposits will not be refunded based on schedule changes resulting in a decrease in monthly tuition. Deposits will be applied toward your June tuition payment if all monthly payments have been paid in full. No refunds will be given if the school year is not completed.
Tuition for the entire school year has been divided into 10 monthly payments. Payments are automatically withdrawn from the account of your choice on the first of each month from September to May, per your SafeSave Contract. We reserve the right to terminate enrollment due to non-payment should payments be returned by your financial institution as incomplete. Since monthly payments are divided into 10 equal monthly payments for affordability and convenience, your full payment for June is also required (paid in August, or your child's first month in the program, along with your registration fee.) Your June Deposit will be applied on June 1st, however, any additional fees/account balance will be processed on June 1st and/or the end of June.
You will receive monthly invoices indicating your payments and current balance. Please use your invoices or your bank receipts for FSA purposes if possible. If a signature is required on your FSA form, please contact Gina at 817-3571 to arrange. The staff on duty at the Program are not be qualified to sign FSA forms.
Please see the chart below to identify monthly tuition rates. You must schedule the days required at the time of registration. If you require scheduling changes throughout the year, we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as quickly as possible. Please update your child's registration form a minimum of 30 days prior to requiring a scheduling change or termination of care.
